Aaliyah and Molly met when they started working together in a French fine dining restaurant during their college years and immediately hit it off. In the following years, both girlies worked together and apart at more restaurants while also experimenting with baking after-hours. While Aaliyah was a full-time food photographer, she had a client who was closing their brick & mortar location in the heart of Downtown Duluth. As fate would have it, they were looking for a bakery to take over that spot- and that is how Aaliyah & Molly got the bakery they had been manifesting for years!
